This is guidance for calculating online CE credits

1. Credits must be ACPE-approved activities.

ACPE - Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education.

2. Pharmacy credits are identified as CPE credits.

CPE - continuing pharmacy education.

3. Some online websites also state them as CEUs (Continuing Education Units) and would normally state them with the contact hours of the activity.

 Example: A CE which was 2 hours long will be stated as follows: 
          Contact Hours (CEU): 2(0.2)

           The credits received are 0.2 credits.
